Hinge Buying Your Next Date?
In a world where people are doing things as crazy as getting engaged sight unseen vis a vis, Netflix’s Love Is Blind, going on blindfolded dates on shows like UpDating, and letting their loved ones take over their dating life, is it all that crazy to let Hinge buy you dinner? This Friday, March 6, Hinge, the dating app designed to be deleted, is daring users to pause their accounts and go meet their matches, IRL, and they’re willing to put money behind it!
Corresponding with the National Day of Unplugging, Hinge is paying members $100 to get off their phones and go on a date, and yes, they’re serious.
To receive the cash, users must simply schedule a date with their Hinge matches between the evening of Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 and pause their Hinge accounts for the same time period. After the date, fill out the “We Met” form and submit the request at unplugwithhinge.com.
